I’ve just booked up a trip to Morrocco. Bit of a spur of the moment thing with a few guys form work but through it would be a bit different from the usual lads weekend away.
It was decided with little thought, permission granted by all 3 wives in a heartbeat (still a little suspicious over that) and then booked just as quick. At least the flights are booked. Only problem being, we don’t really know much about what it has to offer.
Obviously there’s the bazaars and the Souks and it’s pretty close to the Atlas mountain. It’s also a Muslim country so we certainly aren’t going there for a over the top knees up, but it would be good to hear from anyone who’s been to give us a few pointers on what to do, where to go or where to stay. I know we can google this and find an abundance of suggestions and reviews within a few clicks but I find it better if you can have a dialogue with someone and ask a little more about their experiences or suggestions.
We’re definately there to soak up the culture and we wont be looking for the nearest McDonalds or ‘Brit pub” as soon as we land, so any well hidden secrets or little gems about the place would be much appreciated.
We’re going in January so we’re not expecting to come back with a tan and we know it can get chilly on an evening, but we’re eager to hear any other tips you may have.
Will post a little review and a few pics when we return!
